Upper Piedmont Renewables LLC
Located in Person County, North Carolina, Upper Piedmont Renewables converts landfill gas into renewable natural gas (RNG). EVENSOL broke ground in late 2021 and commissioned the project in Q2 2023. When the project reaches full capacity, the Upper Piedmont facility will produce roughly 500,000 dekatherms (Dth) of RNG each year. Upper Piedmont Renewables has achieved remarkable and above industry-standard plant availability and performance since commissioning, surpassing 95% operations runtime thus far in 2025.

Foothills Renewables LLC
Located in Caldwell County, North Carolina, Foothills Renewables converts landfill gas into renewable natural gas (RNG). When it reaches full capacity, the Foothills project will produce roughly 500,000 dekatherms (Dth) of RNG each year. EVENSOL broke ground in late 2021 and commissioned the project in Q3 2023. The Foothills Renewables project was among the first in the USA to transport product RNG from a landfill gas-to-RNG project over the road via a "virtual pipeline" to a receiving point on the local natural gas infrastructure.
